Philippine Sanjia Steel Corporation said Wednesday it will pursue 'all available legal remedies' after a multi-agency task force ordered the shutdown of its Tagoloan plant.

Inspectors flagged irregularities in incoming raw-material shipments and identified workers without proper documentation on site. Operations were suspended pending compliance.

The company maintains its processes are within national standards and said it is cooperating with the Department of Trade and Industry's review.
